In 1997 we were just two enthusiasts with a passion for aviation and military art and after a chance meeting at an aero jumble we began trading and swapping a few prints. Having both come frommarketing backgrounds, working for major corporations that placed great importance on customer service, we felt that, as customers something was lacking in the marketplace. So we decided we should give it a go ourselves and in November 1997 Aces High was born.

Queens Park Centre is a charity that opened in 1980 in the former Queens Park School, where it is still situated. Originally funded by Buckinghamshire County Council it was run for many years by itsfirst Director, Malcolm Thackwray. From the outset, great importance was placed on 'Arts for All'. A range of arts and crafts workshops were set up on a 'pay as you go' basis, an ethos which still resonates at the Centre today.

Although a framing workshop has existed here for many years, it was when professional photographer Gillian Cumming took over the business in 2009, that we truly became established both as a 'Centre ofExcellence' in quality framing services and an artwork destination for a much wider community. Originally from Scotland, Gillian brought a wealth of experience to the Thames Valley, having just returned to the UK after 12 years working as a commercial photographer in the USA and Gulf States.
Both artist and ballerina share an interest in helping the Alzheimers Society and these lovely works were developed following an invitation to Gordon King to sketch and photograph Darcey at work atthe Royal Opera House. Royston Fisher was born in Hornchurch, Essex in 1930. On taking early retirement in 1987, Royston decided to pursue his love of pictures by starting Monopteros Fine Art. He brings a professional,knowledgeable and courteous approach to his consultancy including value assessments, provenance research, restoration and quality framing.
