The Gallery at WYPW features a diverse rolling programme of contemporary print, craft and art. We curate around eight exhibitions per year. The gallery programme ranges from exhibiting emergingcontemporary artists to exhibiting the work of nationally and internationally known artists and printmakers. It is also the home of the Flourish Printmaking Award. We also have a small selection of craft goods to purchase from our craft cabinets. Our exhibitions also include work that can be purchased.
The Art Gallery hosts changing exhibitions of art, mainly by local artists and societies. The gallery is situated on the first floor of the library building, and can be accessed by stairs or lift.
The Group is a non-profit making organisation. It is organised and run by its members on a voluntary basis and is self financing. We hold two Open Art Exhibitions per year, have two painting groups,eleven studios and two gallery rooms, which are £80 and £70 to hire on a 4-weekly cycle. Rooms can be shared. The Gallery is open Thursdays-Sundays 11am-4pm and entrance is free.
