The group was constituted in 2005, and has over 60 committed members, from the Tyne to the Tees and beyond. Through these themed projects edan members are provided with the opportunity to researchtheir subject within a supportive environment, furthering their artistic and academic knowledge. We contribute to the cultural development of the region, by successfully establishing links between artists, industry and commerce.

Janet is a self taught glassartist working in fused glass, leaded stained glass and Pate de Verre. Lucinda Kelly is a portrait artist based in the north east of England. She trained in the traditional techniques of naturalistic drawing and painting at an atelier in Florence, Italy. She is inspiredby the effects of movement and rhythm within her work, and also by those of light and shade, or "chiaroscuro".
