About the Business
Curious Duke Gallery may have began in September 2011 as a pop up, in addition to the online gallery, but CDG now stands as a fully fledged 'anti-gallery'. Curious Duke Gallery is currently London's leading urban and surrealist art space for emerging artists. Founded by 27 year old Eleni Duke, dubbed the Duchess of Whitecross Street, the business has grown exponentially to great acclaim having won second place in Smarta 100 Micro Business Awards 2013. But not only that, Curious Duke Gallery is the only space in London to specialise in urban and surreal art works from new artists. You will find obscure methods of art from laser cut vintage saws depicting childhood scenes, to bic biro drawings on antique documents nestling between bright mixed media paintings of native american inspired women.
