Since its inception the standard of work produced by the members of the Hampshire Artists Co-operative has been high, and the determination to maintain the quality means that all new members arecarefully chosen. The Gallery has now been put on the market and, while Hampshire Artists Co-operative ( known by the members as HACs) has been asked to continue exhibiting until a sale is secured, the group are looking further afield for new venues.
After a successful business career in the design and marketing world, David decided to retire to spend more time in a purely creative role. A course at Schumacher College in Dartington inspired him torekindle his early passion for art in all its forms. He now enjoys painting, life drawing and sculpting, mainly in stone.

I have been in the art business since I was six years old. My father was an Illustrator and commercial artist and I began my initial art training by 'helping' in his studio during that far off summer.In my late teens I broadened my horizons by enrolling first at Ealing Art College and subsequently at Twickenham School of Art. Taking courses in painting, drawing, sculpture, calligraphy, printmaking, partying, illustration and graphic design.
