About the Business
Lingwood Samuel at 12 Church St is an exciting space for selected art and craft in a grade II listed Tudor building in this historical and picturesque street in the centre of Godalming Surrey. In an environment very different from the traditional white cube gallery, regular exhibitions are held, featuring work from the beautiful to the beguiling, from tiny ceramics to lifesize sculpture.
Caroline Lingwood and Margaret Samuel are both working artists, so the gallery incorporates a small studio space for their own work, and a series of workshops are planned. We are also happy to discuss special commissions, large or small, or to find within the wide portfolio of our artists the perfect painting or sculpture for your home, office or garden.
