Avril Nicol graduated in 2001 from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art. The following year Delta Studios, The Creative Centre opened in Larbert. Avril initially enlisted to rent studio space at Delta, and then started working as an artist and key member of the team. Latterly she became the General Manager until September 2013.
