The Quay Arts Centre is situated in a converted 19th-Century brewery warehouse complex at the head of the River Medina in the centre of Newport. Refurbished in 1997 by award winning architect TonyFretton, our facilities include three galleries, a 134-capacity theatre, a Crafts Council-listed gift shop and popular Café Bar with a reputation for serving some of the best home-cooked food on the Island.

In this section you will be able to learn a little bit about the gallery and the people behind it. In 2009 as a family we bought the gallery and since then we have been going from strength tostrength. We originally focused on maritime and Isle of Wight landscape scenes by predominatly Isle of Wight artists. Although, we do still work mostly with Island based artists our subject matter has widended somewhat.

Teresa's workshop practice is especially focused on the earlyyears, where she has found an affinity with the creativity of this age range, which sits nicely with her own spontaneity and interest in the story.
