Studied at High Wycombe School of Art and The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford. Moved to Yorkshire in 1996. Works in various media, including: wood, metal, oil, acrylic, watercolur and pastels. Portfolio includes: abstract expressionist landscapes (inspired by the Yorkshire landscape), figurative work and still life.
Discovered textiles on moving to Yorkshire in 1996. Inspired by colour and the world around me. Work with: wool, metal, plastic, fabric, thread and anything else I can 'lay my hands on'. Techniques include: knitting, crochet, spinning, machine embroidery and rag rugging. Passionate about recycling and keeping the 'old crafts' alive.
