About the Business
Cookhouse Gallery was established in Ambleside in 1981 and has since expanded to include galleries in Bowness, Keswick and Windermere. We offer a wide selection of high quality originals and fine art prints, many of which are Lake District scenes by local artists. The galleries also stock a selection of landscape photography and contemporary artwork.
With a constantly changing display we aim to offer something for everyone. We are a family run business and offer a high level of customer service in a relaxed, informal environment.
