My name is Janice Foley, an artist living near the picturesque and historic town of Yarm in the North East of England. There are two galleries to look through with lots of original, quality art at excellent prices.
It focuses on providing person centered social care services for people with learning disabilities, mental health and other needs. It grew from an idea created by people attending a social services drop-in centre that catered for people experiencing problems with their mental health. We're Tom and Rosamund Jordan, leading specialists in the Staithes Group of painters for 40 years. We believe that this still neglected Group needs to be written into the history of British and World art and Rosamund is nearing the completion of her book which will define and re-assess the artists and their work. These Yorkshire Impressionist painters worked in and around the fishing village of Staithes from around 1883 when the Railway first came to the village.
Since opening its doors in 1998, Gallerina, in Duke Street, Darlington, has tripled in size and is now spread across three Victorian townhouses with a total exhibition space of 2,500 sq. The gallery has a very warm and inviting atmosphere and houses an ever-changing exhibition of paintings, print makers, sculptures, glass and ceramics by local, national and international artists.

The group was constituted in 2005, and has over 60 committed members, from the Tyne to the Tees and beyond. Through these themed projects edan members are provided with the opportunity to research their subject within a supportive environment, furthering their artistic and academic knowledge. We contribute to the cultural development of the region, by successfully establishing links between artists, industry and commerce.
The gallery in the centre of Durham City, showcases a fine range of contemporary art, including: paintings, sculpture, furniture, ceramics, glass, jewellery and textiles. Janet is a self taught glass artist working in fused glass, leaded stained glass and Pate de Verre. She works full time designing and producing commissions for domestic and commercial projects around the UK.
