About the Business
The Muralist is led by me, Alison Rushton, a fully qualified and experienced interior designer and mural artist. My passion for art started in a South Wales theatre, where I trained and worked as a qualified theatre set designer. During this time I also completed a scene painting course at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow. My career took a completely new direction when I moved to Derbyshire and trained to be a Midwife, my love for art however never left me. I have at last found a way to combine both my passion for art and midwifery through my children's murals and canvases. I love the idea of turning a blank wall, canvas or face in to something vibrant and exciting!
