About the Business

Lisa Keogh, Graduate of GSA 1993, Original Artists was established in Gourock in 1997 with the help of the Princess Trust. Within 12 months we had outgrown the premises and moved into a derelict former butcher's shop which boasts an elaborate J Duncan & Co ceramic tile wall frieze. The move to the new premises was fascilitated by the Prince's Trust. This provided much needed space to augment our mainly Scottish arts and crafts with artwork from across the world. We are conscious of ensuring that our products are fair trade.

Original Artists have received numerous awards including; Prince's Trust, Shell Livewire, Outstanding New Business, Award of Excellence, Most Promising Business, RBS Regional Winner.
