About the Business
The impressive mansion house, built in 1760 in the style of Robert Adam was gifted to the Royal Burgh of Ayr in 1968. A generous bequest of funds from the late Mrs Mary Maclaurin enabled the conversion of the coach house and stables into an art gallery in 1976 and the ongoing acquisition of a unique collection of classic and contemporary art. Visitors to the Gallery can also enjoy the tea room and gift shop and the collections held within Rozelle House.
