JAG Gallery and Open Studios is a combined studio and art gallery based on Brighton beach and open to the public. We feature artists working in wideranging disciplines from painting to glass, printmaking to jewellery and web design to photography. Whether you're hoping to buy an original artwork, take part in workshops, meet the artists or simply take a look around, pop in and see us. You can watch work being created and commission a personalised piece, be it a portrait, landscape, abstract or something else entirely.
This vibrant community of eclectic talents was a dilapidated council property until rescued by Julieanne Gilburt several years ago. Now open 364 days a year, and always staffed by at least one of the resident artists, it has become much more than just an art gallery - a popular venue for celebrity and charity events, the colourful arches have also featured in many film and television productions.
