About the Business
Opened in 2005, The Hawthorn Gallery is an independent fine art gallery which offers customers an extensive range of limited edition artwork, original paintings and sculpture from some of the finest contemporary artists working today. We also offer a first class in-house framing service; the beating heart of any good gallery. We have in stock pieces from recognised published artists such as Craig Davison, Bob Barker, Stan Lee, Bob Dylan, Lawrie Williamson, Paul Horton, Caroline Shotton and Alexander Millar. We also showcase work by up and coming UK talents such as Angela Smyth, David Bez, Trevor Lingard, Gwyn Jones and Paul Stone. We recently moved location to the site of the old Hare & Hounds pub on Mottram Road, Stalybridge, Cheshire. Steeped in history; the original part of the building was used as a farmhouse before it became a pub in 1829.
