I am based in the famous Artists Quarter located on Brighton beach, a popular seaside destination on the South Coast of England. My studio is open to visitors throughout the year & all my work is available to purchase in-store or online here. I am happy to carry out commissioned pieces of work at your request.

Smallhythe Studio, run by Debbie Hynard and Rowena McWilliams, is an exciting new gallery and art centre near Tenterden which exhibits and promotes high quality contemporary art. Smallhythe Studio exhibits work by successful contemporary artists, primarily from the south east of England, with an emphasis on landscape and abstract work. The studio also uncovers and supports promising new artists, offering them exhibition space and helping them to develop their work.
Welcome to Rye Art Gallery home to an inspiring line up of regularly changing exhibitions, a fine Permanent Collection of national importance and a full programme of supporting talks, workshops and community activities. The Gallery is housed in two listed heritage buildings linked by an award winning contemporary structure and is an independent Trust dating from 1957 and a registered charity (No:310318). The original gallery building housing the Permanent Collection is also an accredited Museum.
Artista Studio and Gallery is a photo studio, exhibition space and event venue for hire in the heart of Brighton & Hove. We have a fully licensed bar which we can operate until 2am and an in house sound-system. There is also a kitchen for functions as the space was once a large restaurant. Set up in 2012, Artista was predominantly a working photographic studio.
Mews Art Studio formerly known as Borderline Studios est. 2001 is a working artists studio in Hove with a wide range of ceramics, from the sculptural to the functional, prints and original paintings; Greeting cards & gift wrap, silver and enamelled jewellery; upcycled jewellery made from magazines and books all under one roof.
I spent much of my early childhood in Germany and Africa - where I read every book on my parents' shelves, became fascinated by the patterns on everyday objects, and learned to make lino-cuts. We returned to a dark rainy London when I was in my teens. I detested school but was rescued by an inspirational art teacher, Meriel Cardew (wife of the potter Michael), a vivid, kindly figure. Highlights included visits from Michael and from the Nigerian potter Ladi Kwali.
